History of the child

Sasha was born in 2010. In the age of 3 month the girl could already hold her head up, at 4 month – roll over. But when she was 5 months old grandparents have noticed that physical development of the girl is not normal.

When Sasha was diagnosed with cerebral palsy our life has been divided into “before” and “after”. It took Natalya, the mother of the girl, about a year to accept the situation and change her attitude towards it. “I have a special child, but I’m a happy mother,” the woman says.

“Massage, hippotherapy, osteopathy, belarusian rehabilitation centers, clinics in Ukraine, Russia and Poland – we try to do everything possible, seize all possibilities to help our daughter. Rehabilitation of the child is a hard work… backbreaking work. But there is no other way to achieve something. You need constantly encourage the child, help him. But tender eyes of my daughter always give me the energy for struggle and everything seems possible”.

Sasha’s parents have learned to notice and appreciate even small things, that some people can find insignificant. A new movement, a new word are an invaluable gift for the family. The girl is seven years old, but she has already achieved a lot. She can walk and is keen on singing and dancing.

“We are constantly looking for new methods, centers or other possibilities to help our daughter. But Sasha needs a wheelchair and orthoses to be able to visit all the rehabilitation centers and clinics. It’s impossible of us to buy them on our own, that’s why we have no other choice but to ask you for help. Thank you in advance!”
